Last November, Half Shire officially inaugurated the William G Pomeroy genealogy library with a ribbon cutting by CNY Philanthropist Bill Pomeroy and wife Sandra. Above are pictured Librarian and curator of the collection Sharon Turo (left) with Half Shire Treasurer Betty Warren (right).
If you've not had the opportunity to utilize the library it's truly a remarkable collection and represents the very essence of what Half Shire Historical Society is all about. We again thank Bill and Sandra for their philanthropy and all they've done to enhance the good work we try to do in the name of our ancestors.
